The coach cannot count on Kaka, Luis Fabiano and Anderson because of injuries, but he raised few eyebrows by calling Ronaldinho and Adriano despite their very poor form. Dunga didn’t call Amauri to his original squad but he later tried to include him as a replacement for Fabiano, but Juventus didn’t allow him to leave. Amauri is yet to decide whether he will play for Italy or Brazil and this could see him choose Italy after all. Fiorentina’s excellent midfielder Felipe Melo has been called and he is likely to take his place in the starting line-up, alongside Gilberto Silva, while Ronaldinho, Robinho and Pato should start up front.
